Tallinn, the capital of the Republic of Estonia, lies on the south-western coast of the Gulf of Finland, only 80 km from Helsinki. A total of 30% of Estonia's population (1,5 million) reside in the capital city. Spend a day in Tallinn on the post-conference tour. Visit the Old Town with its unique medieval atmosphere: its towers, gates, churches and narrow cobbled streets. Spend time in one of the numerous cosy cafés or look around the handicraft shops, art galleries and museums that give the Old Town its special character. The post-conference tour also takes you to the constantly changing new city of Tallinn surrounding the Old Town.
The price of the tour, €130 + cost of visa if applicable, includes bus transport to and from the ferry terminal, travel by express ferry (approx. 2 hours each way), guided bus & walking tours in Tallinn and lunch. Changes in the programme are possible.
Please book the post-tour along with your registration. The tour will be organised only if a minimum of 20 people sign up. Deadline for registration is 15 April 2005. More details concerning the requirements for visas will be given after the registration deadline.
